The Hungarian government has announced that in connection with the proceedings on the asylum of Zbigniew Ziobra and Marcin Romanowski, it urges them to personally submit explanations. If they don't show up, decisions will be made without them.

This is the first official position of the new Hungarian authorities on politicians prosecuted for common crimes, to which the government of Viktor Orbán granted asylum. The government in Warsaw and the National Prosecutor’s Office, which want to charge them for the scandal of the Justice Fund, were eagerly awaiting the voice of Hungary in this matter. Despite Prime Minister Peter Magyar's declaration that he would deprive Ziobra and Romanowski's protection, nothing happened until the end of last week.

On Sunday, the Hungarian Interior Ministry (which formally deals with asylum matters) finally announced the announcement. On the basis of it, it can be determined what will happen in the near future in the extradition of the former Minister of Justice and his deputy.
